Did you know that today marks the end of the Hospice UK ?

Hospice care is essential, letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out. The amount of government funding varies from hospice to hospice, so the amount they receive can be left to the luck of the draw. We believe that everyone deserves high-quality hospice care, whoever they are, and wherever they live.

At St Wilfrid’s, only 17% of our £10.5 million annual running costs is funded by the government, meaning the remaining 83% has to be raised through you, our incredible community.

By shopping with St Wilfrid’s and continuing to donate good-quality items for our shops, you are having a huge impact on your local community.

Thank you once again for supporting St Wilfrid’s charity shops, and making sure that we don’t leave hospice care to chance.

We are excited to be supporting Bishop Luffa School once again with their upcoming pre-loved prom dress sale!

This always-popular event is the perfect chance to find your dream prom dress at a fraction of the shop price, while giving pre-loved outfits and second chance to shine.

We don’t know what the weather has planned for us this autumn, but we do know that the St Wilfrid's Hospice charity shops are full of cosy wears for chilly days, autumnal decors and lots of lovely homewares.

Kristina is our Selsey shop manager and we met with her to learn more about her and the shop, what she enjoys about her role and why she thinks more people are shopping pre-loved.

💬 “Even before I became manager at our Selsey shop, I was a customer - I started in March this year, so I’ve only been here a few months, but I’d like to think I’ve put my stamp on the shop already and I’m really enjoying it”.
