Just 3 days to go! 🎉

Our new Community Garden is almost ready to welcome visitors. Already, the people we support have enjoyed learning practical gardening skills, building friendships, and coming together as a team while helping to bring this space to life.

Designed by sustainable garden designer Lynne Lambourne, the renovated garden features seasonal planting, fruit and vegetable plots, wildflower areas, accessible paths, raised beds, and seating. 🪻

We can't wait to see local schools, community groups, and the wider community enjoy this welcoming space for learning, wellbeing, and connection.

Only 1 week to go until the launch of our Community Garden! 🌿

Over the past few months, the people we support and staff, Earth Cycle and sustainable garden designer, Lynne Lambourne have played an important role in bringing this space to life, caring for plants, and enjoying the chance to work together and connect with nature.

♻️ Sustainability has been a key consideration throughout - the garden has been created using Earth Cycle’s sustainable range of garden materials, and planters created by our very own Wood@Aldingbourne team.

Not long now until we officially open our new Community Garden at Aldingbourne Country Centre! 🌱

Already, the people we support have been enjoying spending time in the garden, learning new gardening skills, growing fresh produce, and coming together as a group. It's been wonderful to see confidence grow alongside the fruit, vegetables, and flowers.

When it opens, the garden will provide an accessible space for visitors, local schools, community groups, and the people we support to learn, connect, and enjoy the many wellbeing benefits of being outdoors and around nature.

Fill your garden with beautiful flowers, shrubs and seasonal plants while supporting a local charity.

Every plant has been lovingly grown and cared for by the people we support in our Horticulture team, helping them develop valuable skills, confidence and employment opportunities.

🪴 Bring along your old plant pots and help us Reduce • Reuse • Recycle.

The best part? Our greenhouse is FREE to visit - no Country Centre admission ticket is needed.

Whats on tomorrow? We have Jumping Jacks Bouncy Castles! 🏰 A smaller, more relaxed inflatable play session perfect for younger children. ☔️ We are aware there is rain forecasted tomorrow. The bouncy castles will be open when it is dry and safe for them to be used, and we may need to close them if it begins to rain heavily.
