🎭 Yesterday afternoon we took to the theatre!

𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 is 20th century masterpiece, that has been described as the perfect musical. Never before produced at Chichester- Lerner & Loewe’s ‘𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭’ has 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘦, 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘭𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘢 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘴.

Such a fantastic afternoon was had by all, at 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲, and what a wonderful experience for those of our young adults who are about to start their performing arts courses at college! 🎭

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺

📣Next Monday sees the return of our ever popular weekly Zoom sessions.
These sessions are included in the 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝟭𝟴 annual membership fee and were started during lockdown, to keep our activities regular and prevent isolation. These weekly scheduled Zoom sessions have become a well loved permanent fixture.
💬Whilst on a short summer break we have kept in touch via Wednesday’s 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁, but we are very excited to get back to our regular programme.

📢 We are so excited to get back to our flagship 𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, after a short summer break!

During these sessions our young adults achieve and learn so much. Every Saturday morning they show focus, joy, teamwork and determination. With the opportunity to participate in 3 different activities such as; dance, drumming and basketball; each young adult gets the absolute most from every session.

Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund we’re able to run these sessions at just £12.50 for the whole morning! 👏

These sessions couldn’t run without the support of our volunteers; volunteering helps not only 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝟭𝟴 but you! You can build social connections, learn new skills and develop existing ones and help give back to your local community.

🖼️ Yesterday we attended an artistic workshop led by Kate Viner, supported by Mia Hoskins, at Pallant House Gallery.

Kate invited 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝟭𝟴 to be a part of her powerful and inspiring community project celebrating the incredible legacy of Ethel Margaret ‘𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲’ Turner, a Chichester-born member of the Women’s Freedom League, and, crucially, a lifelong campaigner for women and children’s rights. 💪

🌷Our young adults moved around the gallery viewing the beautiful and emotive artwork, whilst creating their own interpretations. Before moving on to learn more about Madge, the plans for her bronze sculpture, and how our flower drawings, would contribute to Kate’s vision.

𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲🏔️

Mount Kilimanjaro stands at 19,341 feet high and is in Tanzania. In October 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 will be climbing Africa’s highest peak. Alison has been dreaming of this challenge since 2009 and 17 years later it’s finally becoming a reality.

Alison has chosen to use this great opportunity to raise some money for us at 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝟭𝟴 and support our mission to continue to prevent isolation and exclusion.

💕 🍷 "Tastes like love" - Such a wonderful day yesterday hosted by our friends at Longdown Vineyards, celebrating our ongoing partnership with Louise and Holly.

We began in Wi******er with smoothies before heading to the vineyard, where we explored newly planted vines, enjoyed lunch and then wine tasting. We wrote our own tasting notes — “smells and tastes of romance", "fruity","tangy in my mouth."
We then learnt about the vines, visited the mature vineyard for a walk before finishing with a treasure hunt. 🏆

⚽ Last week, with the help of coach Trev, Louis 'Van' Denison-Foster managed a team of fierce and tenacious players through a day of thrilling tactical drills and super set pieces; turning Boxgrove into THINK18's own St George's Park for the day. 💪
