A HUGE HOPE thank you to DLK Waste Solutions for their incredible help today.
We thought we had it covered, but trying to shift all the plastic crates, the cardboard and the last of the shop displays had us beaten.
A whole fortnight of early mornings, incredibly late nights and hardly any sleep and the shop is ready to hand back to our landlord.
It has been a colossal challenge and yesterday I put a shout out for some last minute help.
Thanks to Jan Lawrence for putting us in touch with Dan from who came out with extremely short notice to help us out. Fast. Friendly. Professional. We would recommend Dan and his team for any waste removal requirements, commercial and residential 100%

When all else fails, we always have HOPE 💜💙

So many lovely people have dropped by to say so many lovely things about us at HOPE 💜💙

How as a Charity we've helped them, whether they are homeless, struggling or just loving a great bargain.

But mostly and this has melted our hearts - the huge number of people that just wanted to let us know that they'll miss us. They've loved the laughter, the banter (the cheeky chatter) and our volunteers just for being here, being non-judgemental, being kind and most of all, bringing hope.

A lady came in on Saturday and asked 'where do we go now for hope?' Wow! I told her our strap line and she went away smiling ☺

When all else fails, you'll always have HOPE 💜💙

We'll have some FREE items out the front of the shop tomorrow, including our HOPE wristbands. PLEASE do take one and put it on. Let's share the hope around Chester-le-Street 💜💙

A HUGE HOPE thank you to Lewis Richardson of LDR Carpentry for once again coming to our rescue.
You may recall a few months ago, after some local young scallywags put bricks through our windows, Lewis came and boarded us up. We stayed boarded up to avoid repeat shenanigans.

Now, as we hand the building back to the landlord, Lewis has replaced the glass and the boarding, to protect the windows from further damage ALL AT COST PRICE. NO LABOUR COSTS as he supports our Charity.

Lewis is an absolutely brilliant young man, with an excellent work ethic for such a new and young business owner.

PLEASE check out his work at LDR Carpentry and give him the opportunity to give your home a touch of class 💜💙
