We would like to give a massive THANKS to County Durham and Sunderland Foodbank for once again keeping our community Foodbank at FISCUS topped up ready for our Community Foodbank Session tomorrow morning. Our shelves were almost empty until we received around 10 crates of food today to ensure we have plenty to make up our food parcels 🥰🙏🌟

We would like to especially THANK the Fabulous Foodbank VOLUNTEERS who give up their time and always arrive with a smile to deliver our food bank stock every week🥰🙏🌟

THANK YOU to the fantastic people who donate to Sunderland County Durham and Sunderland Foodbank, FISCUS Foodbank and to all of the community Foodbanks in Sunderland. No matter how tough times get, people are so generous with food and essentials donations 🥰🙏🌟

Meet Will, our newest volunteer at the Foodbank Warehouse! 👋🏻

With retirement just around the corner, Will decided to get a head start on putting some of his soon-to-be free time to good use by doing something meaningful and giving back to the community.

We're delighted to have him on board, and it's been brilliant having him as part of the team so far!

A little reminder that food banks need more than just food 💚

We’re always incredibly grateful for food donations, but toiletries are often some of out most needed items. Things like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and sanitary products can make a huge difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our community with every donation. Every item matters💚

Recently married, Cara and Becky chose to celebrate their special day in a truly meaningful way. Instead of asking for wedding gifts, they asked their guests to make donations to support us 💚

Thanks to their generosity, and the kindness of their family and friends, the donations raised will provide 120 meals for people facing food insecurity.

In May, we were able to support 1,391 people across our community, including 958 adults and 433 children.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports us and makes it possible for us to continue our work 💚

Yesterday, we received a fantastic donation from the Performance & Continuous Improvement Team at Northumbrian Water.

In total, their food and monetary donations will help provide 277 meals for people facing food insecurity, which is absolutely fantastic!

We also loved the Northumbrian Water branded bags that the donations arrived in 👀
