We are a group of people who aim to put service to others above the needs of ourselves. We work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds and give support to local, national and international good causes.

That is for Medway Sunlight Rotary's Quiz Night on Saturday,
27 June, at St Mary's Island Community Centre.

Rotary are volunteers who come up with good ideas to help their communities achieve new, vital or extra things. Such as funds for a drop-in cafe for families with a dementia member. Or buying tools for a community orchard.

Medway Sunlight Rotary has just been doing exactly that -- with your help. See you at the Quiz!

We hope you have seen that Medway Sunlight Rotary has another community event on the way!

Our popular Quiz is to be held on Saturday, 27 June, at the St Mary's Island Community Centre to raise funds for Rotary volunteers to help and support our community.

What does that mean. At the moment helping a lot of children go on a special Kids Day out to remember. Also organising and funding competitions for young people that give regional and national opportunities.

We were first to answer the appeal by Medway Hospital to get extra wheelchairs. Look out for 'Sunlight Express'.

Planting more purple crocuses in and around St Mary's Island and digging to help establish an allotment at Mid Kent College for students to relieve study pressures.

So book your table now ( up to eight people in a team ) and we look forward to seeing you there.

Thank you to all involved in making the Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge and Food and Drink Festival such a success .... and yes we had two teams speed across that basin course in UNDER A MINUTE!

Congratulations to our winners but also to the 36 teams in all who provided the excitement, energy and support for charities. We have now published the results and times of the finals on our web site.

Even more thanks to the hundreds plus of people who bought our Grand Dragon Draw tickets. The winning numbers of the 20 and more prizes are now also on our web site.

Here comes our next event -- the popular Quiz Night!

This time to be held on Saturday, 27 June at St Mary's Island Community Centre to raise funds for the Trust Fund that helps many local groups and organisations.

All tables were filled last year -- so book early. Maximum eight in a team and £8 a person. A 7 for 7.30pm start. Please bring your own refreshments.
