❤️ IN LOVING MEMORY ❤️

Today at All Saints Community Project, our In Loving Memory group met for our monthly session.

Emma came up with the beautiful idea of choosing someone we’ve lost, writing their name down and adding the words, memories or little things that make us think of them. ❤️

Such a simple idea, but such a lovely way to remember, share stories, have a laugh and sometimes shed a little tear together.

Because saying their name keeps their memory alive. ❤️

❤️ A HUGE thank you to Asda for having us today and supporting our food drive. ❤️

And to our two amazing volunteers who gave up their time to stand with us today ,thank you. You are both absolute stars. 🌟
Today wasn’t just about collecting tins and packets of food. It was about people helping people.
Behind every bag of food we collect is a real person, a real family and sometimes a parent wondering how they are going to put food on the table. A simple donation can mean someone doesn’t have to choose between heating their home and feeding their children.

That’s why days like today mean so much to us at All Saints Community Project. ❤️

We see first-hand how much difference a little kindness can make. And today, once again, the community showed up. People stopped, listened, donated what they could and helped us fill those boxes.

There is no such thing as a donation that is “only a packet of custard ” or “just a packet of pasta”. When lots of people give a little, it becomes a lot. 🥫❤️
So thank you to everyone who donated today, to our wonderful volunteers, and to Asda for giving us the opportunity to be there.
You may never know exactly who your donation helps, but please believe me when I say it matters. More than you probably realise. ❤️
This is what community is about.
Looking after each other, especially when times are hard. 🥰

And yes… after today, we may never look at a packet of custard in quite the same way again! 😂🥫❤️

For the children whose school bags will be staying at home… ❤️

Please remember this:

It was never you.

You are not broken.
You are not faulty.
You are not bad.
And you were never a failure.

Sometimes the system simply isn’t built for every child.

The adults around you may not have understood you. They may not have listened, supported or protected you in the way you deserved. And when that happens, it can be very easy to believe that you are the problem.

But you’re not.

One day, when you step outside those four walls, you may realise something very important…

It was never you.

The world is much bigger than a classroom, a school report or a list of things you supposedly can’t do.

There are places where your differences will be welcomed.
People who will see your strengths.
And opportunities where you can discover exactly who you are.

So please don’t be afraid of the world beyond school.

Your story isn’t ending because your school bag is staying at home.

Maybe you’re just taking a different road. ❤️

And here at All Saints Community Project, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported and accepted exactly as they are.

You don’t need to fit the mould to have a future.
You just need the chance to find where you belong. 🌈❤️
