Llais Pobl Ifanc Yn Sir Gâr ★ The Voice Of Young People In Carmarthenshire There are five important areas that our work focuses on:

- Working with YOU (e.g.

We aim to build the confidence and awareness of all young people so that they can assert their rights. we increase young peoples awareness about their rights so they can change things for themselves).

- Speaking up, Fighting for and Making change (e.g. we stand up for our rights in organisations like District Councils to make sure we are included in their work).

- Getting YOU involved (e.g. we go out and meet other young people from all over Carmarthenshire to tell us what they think needs to change).

- Getting the message out (e.g. we provide opportunities for other young people to meet face to face with councillors, business owners etc.)

- Increasing resources and improving effectiveness (e.g. we work with funders to get the money we need to do our work well).

Our Member of Youth Parliament, Amiraah, has represented Carmarthenshire over the past 3 days at the UK Youth Parliament Annual Conference in Hull!
This event fostered creativity, diversity and creating new connections between people from all corners of the UK.
Amiraah said that the biggest thing she took out of it was ‘Connection and representation is the key to change’ and that ‘It was the experience of a lifetime’

Mae ein haelod o Senedd Ieuenctid y DU, Amiraah, wedi cynrychioli Sir Gaerfyrddin dros y tri diwrnod diwethaf yng nghynhadledd flynyddol Senedd Ieuenctid y DU yn Hull!
Roedd y digwyddiad wedi annog creadigrwydd ac amrywiaeth, yn ogystal â chreu cysylltiadau a ffrindiau newydd rhwng pobl o bob cornel o'r DU.
Dywedodd Amiraah mai'r peth pwysicaf a ddysgodd hi oedd bod ‘cysylltiad a chynrychioliad yn allweddol i sicrhau newid’, a’i bod hi wedi cael ‘profiad oes’.
