After sharing our update about the future of Sero, we are now looking to rehome our stock of fabric and haberdashery items. We’re keen to keep these resources in local hands, supporting sewing, mending and creative projects across the community.

On Monday 13th July (10am - 4pm), we’re opening the doors for a one day sale! Materials will be available on a pay as you feel basis.

Just a reminder that we are now based on Hall Street, near Notts Square next to what was Goldstone Books shop

We look forward to seeing you there!

Ar ôl rhannu ein diweddariad am ddyfodol Sero, rydym nawr yn edrych i ailgartrefu ein stoc o ffabrig ac eitemau gwnïo. Rydym yn awyddus i gadw'r adnoddau hyn mewn dwylo lleol, gan gefnogi prosiectau gwnïo, atgyweirio a chreadigol ar draws y gymuned.

Ar Ddydd Llun 13 Gorffennaf (10yb - 4yp), byddwn yn agor y drysau ar gyfer gwerthiant undydd! Bydd deunyddiau ar gael ar sail talu yn ôl eich dymuniad.

Hoffwn eich atgoffa ein bod ni nawr wedi'n lleoli ar Hall Street, ger Notts Square wrth ymyl yr siop oedd yn blaenorol yn Goldstone Books.

Rydyn ni'n ymwybodol bod llawer o'n dilynwyr a'n cefnogwyr eisiau gwybod beth sy'n digwydd gyda Sero ers i ni adael ein safle blaenorol yn Rhodfa Santes Catrin. Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi eich amynedd yn ystod y cyfnod hwn ac mae wedi bod o gysur gwybod bod galw o hyd am ein gwasanaethau. Rydym yn falch iawn o bopeth rydyn ni wedi'i gyflawni gyda'n gilydd ac yn hynod o ddiolchgar i'n gwirfoddolwyr.

Mae'r tîm wedi angen amser i ailystyried ein pwrpas mewn perthynas â'r argyfwng hinsawdd a'r hyn rydyn ni'n teimlo fydd o fudd i'r gymuned, yn ogystal â bod yn gynaliadwy i ni fel unigolion. Rydym wedi gwneud y penderfyniad na fydd Sero yn ailagor fel yr oedd o'r blaen.

Fel y gwyddom i gyd, mae'r argyfwng hinsawdd yn effeithio ar bob agwedd o’n bywydau, ond fel tîm bach rydym yn teimlo y gallwn ni cael yr effaith mwyaf o amglych bwyd. Rydym wedi ein hysgogi gan lwyddiant y Llyfrgell Hadau Anhygoel a byddwn yn datblygu prosiectau o amgylch diogelwch bwyd, sgiliau a chynaliadwyedd. Byddwn nawr yn edrych ar sut y gallwn gefnogi a gweithio gyda'r gymuned i dyfu, coginio, cadw a mwynhau bwyd lleol mewn ffordd sy'n adfywiol ar gyfer natur.

Rydym yn gwybod na all hyn i gyd ddigwydd o un safle ac felly byddwn yn parhau â'n gwaith yn y gymuned a byddem wrth ein bodd pe baech yn cysylltu â ni os hoffech archebu gweithdy neu eisiau ni dod i siarad â chi am hadau neu fwyd.

Rydym yn dal i gredu bod y gwasanaethau a hyrwyddwyd gennym yn flaenorol yn Sero yn bwysig ac rydym yn chwilio am bartneriaid lleol a hoffai sefydlu neu gymryd drosodd ein llyfrgell o bethau, siop sgrap, atgyweiriadau tecstilau, siop gyfnewid dilliad a thegannau plant ac ati. Cysylltwch os hoffech drafod unrhyw beth o hyn.

Bydd y siop presennol dim ond yn agor ar gyfer gwasanaethau sy'n gysylltiedig â Llyfrgell Hadau Anhygoel o hyn ymlaen. Diolch am eich cefnogaeth barhaus.💚

We know a lot of our followers and supporters have been wondering what is happening with Sero since we left our previous premises in St Catherine’s Walk earlier this year. We appreciate your patience during this time and it has been encouraging to know that our services are still in demand. We are very proud of everything we have achieved together and incredibly grateful to our volunteers.

The team has needed some time to re-evaluate our purpose in relation to the climate emergency and what we feel will benefit the community, as well as being sustainable for us as individuals. We have made the decision that Sero will not be reopening as it was previously.

As we all know the climate emergency impacts all areas of our lives, but as a small team we feel that we can make the most impact around food. We are spurred on by the success of the Incredible Seed Library and will be developing projects around food security, skills and sustainability. We will now be looking at how we can support and work with the community to grow, cook, preserve and enjoy local food in a way that is regenerative for nature.

We know that this cannot all happen from a single premises and therefore we will be continuing our work out in the community and would love you to contact us if you would like to book a workshop or talk around seeds or food.

We still believe in the importance of the services that we previously championed in Sero and we are looking for local partners who would like to set up or take over our library of things, scrap store, textile repairs, childrens’ swap shop etc. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any of this.

Sero shop on Hall Street will now only be open for services related to the Incredible Seed Library. Thank you for your continued support. 💚

💚We’re still here! / Rydym yn dal yma! 💚

As well as moving to our new premises, over the last few weeks we’ve been out in local schools teaching simple hand‑sewing skills and having important conversations about textile waste and what we can do with scrap materials.

Behind the scenes we're waiting on some funding updates and making decisions about the next stage for Sero. We're not quite ready to reopen our doors.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. We hope to have further updates very soon!

Yn ogystal â symud i'n safleoedd newydd, dros y wythnosau diwethaf rydym wedi bod allan mewn ysgolion lleol yn dysgu sgiliau gweu llaw syml ac yn cael sgyrsiau pwysig am wastraff ffibr a beth y gallwn ei wneud gyda deunyddiau gweddilliol.

Yn y cefndir rydym yn aros am ddiweddariadau a***nnol ac yn gwneud penderfyniadau am gam nesaf Sero. Nid ydym yn barod i ailagor ein drysau eto.

Diolch am eich amynedd a'ch cefnogaeth barhaus. Gobeithiwn gael diweddariadau pellach yn fuan!

Amazing!

The stories shared around the table carry decades of lived history.

A group mosaic, pieced together from broken china, old tiles and porcelain flowers…….. as the stories were shared around the table the mosaic flowed and grew, all those separate fragments coming together to create a whole picture

We never take for granted the friendship and trust shared with us. The stories of childhood, travelling life, family, horses, craft and culture — living history held in conversation around the table.

So much talent. So much generosity. So much strength in this community.

Grateful to walk alongside the path
where stories and making meet.
