We deeply regret that we shall have to close our shop on Thursday 25th June due to the extreme heat .. some of our volunteers are vulnerable so we have to consider their safety ..
We shall be open Friday as usual

Please note that our shop will be closed on Saturday June 6th because our volunteers are busy preparing for the OPEN DAY at the hospice the next day ! However we are pleased to advise that we have a bus leaving from the shop at 11.30
On Sunday 7th June and will return at approximately 2.30 from Hethersgill .. limited seating so it will be on a first come first serve basis so we ask you to be there in plenty of time .. for more details please enquire in shop.❤️

Did you know the charity has a Face Book group run by volunteers that holds online Auctions especially to raise funds for Animal Hospice ?
The current Auction is a bit special as it features some lovely art works, including 3 absolutely stunning pencil and pen and ink drawings by Elizabeth Mcdonagh herself who runs the Penny Jones Hospice, and is the Sanctuary founder.
Here is her art work and a small sample of other donated pieces on the auction. If you'd like to see the rest and to bid or take part in the auction I've put the link to the group in the comments.
All proceeds raised by this auction are going towards refurbishment of the donkey and goat barn pictured.
