A fabulous moment as we announce the return of the Cardiff Volunteer Awards for a record eighth year. Nominations open on Monday 1 June 2026 in preparation for welcoming Volunteers Week. Stay tuned - and thank you to all our supporters over the years who have contributed to making this event bigger and better each time.

We've got some exciting news that we've been keeping under wraps...

The Cardiff Volunteer Awards is returning for an eighth year and it begins with nominations! Opening on Monday 1 June during , you will be able to put forward an individual or group up for recognition for their contributions to volunteering. With seven categories to choose from, there's something for everyone.

With the Month of Community approaching, C3SC is delighted to reveal news about our upcoming Cardiff Community Gathering! Taking place at a local venue in the city - The Hive, St. Mellons on Thursday, 2nd July from 1pm-5pm, this exciting new event offers a dedicated space for our members to come together through a programme of activities and workshops.

In response to listening to our members about their priorities, the new event aims to support continuous dialogue for a stronger, thriving Cardiff Third Sector . Book now - spaces are limited!

Here are some photos from when C3SC joined the 'More in Common Action: Wales Conference', organised in partnership with The Jo Cox Foundation a few months ago at the Future Inn. As Jo Cox once said, 'We have more in common than that which divides us', it's important for us to be working with groups on collating our resources together to strengthen and develop the sector. 🔴 Closing soon: 'Women's Health Matters' Grant

Thank you to everyone who has completed and returned their expression of interest form to the 'Women's Health Matters' Grant. This small grant, in partnership with Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is a community engagement project focused on the health needs of women and girls with the aim of improving services.

The deadline is approaching with the funding closing this Friday, 29th May at 5pm.

Thank you to Magda, C3SC's Volunteer Centre Officer who represented us to attend a community event yesterday organised by Cardiff City of Sanctuary at the Trinity Centre as part of A Million Acts of Hope campaign, to promote kindness, diversity and collaboration.
