One of our members, Creative Lives is currently conducting a short project to map creative opportunities in Cardiff, supported by Cardiff Council.

As part of this exercise, they are calling all creative groups to take part in a short survey. Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw - and one creative group will win a grant of £250. Survey to the links below:

Thank you to everyone who made it to the Cardiff Community Schools Network Meeting on Saturday, taking place at St David's Catholic College. It's really great to be doing these meetings every quarter to look at how community schools can come together to strengthen and share the resources that are available, and most of all, it's community-led!

Our Volunteer Centre Officer Magda wore two hats as she facilitated the session but also represented Polish Saturday School in the meeting.

🔵 A new approach to commissioning - understand the new guidance and what’s changed to support more third sector groups to be funded to deliver commissioned services
🔵 Recent engagement opportunities - discuss the outcomes and next steps, including potential partnerships and funding opportunities
🔵 Designing future home care - help shape the planned approach and the role and opportunities for the voluntary third sector to be more fully integrated into this process

Are you a volunteer-involving organisation delivering befriending or practical support activities? In a brand new pilot project, C3SC is looking to work with voluntary organisations to embed the new Vision for Volunteering in Wales, and put that into action! If successful, you will receive a £1,500 grant plus support from C3SC throughout the project.

Congratulations to all the runners who completed the yesterday! It was another fantastic event organised by Run 4 Wales as our team got involved with a spot of volunteering for this year's event at the water station to rehydrate everyone involved and offer our words of encouragement. We hope all the runners enjoy some well-deserved rest today!

The C3SC AGM and Members' Forum 2026 is just a few weeks away. Following the successful Community Gathering event that took place earlier this year, we're pleased to be taking our annual event into another local community space - this time at the V21 Sbectrwm Centre in Fairwater!
