Today, we added another 4 bikes to our adaptive fleet of bikes.

A huge thanks to The Beacon School in Folkestone for their kind donation❤️

This now takes our fleet of adaptive bikes to 14❤️ All of these bikes will enable both young people and adults with any disability to experience the joy of cycling.

What makes our new provision even better is that the bikes will be completely free of charge to use.

We are now just waiting on the delivery of a new container for storage, and we will soon be ready to launch this amazing new provision.

It was an amazing day of Learn to Ride sessions today

We had it all, sunshine, smiles, and tears of joy from both children and parents❤️

I can still hear children saying I've done it with jubilation now❤️

Congratulations to all the new riders. A big thank you to parents and carers for their support.

Keep practising, keep cycling, and importantly, keep smiling💙💙

MORE AMAZING NEWS!!❤️❤️

We have been shortlisted for the Bikeability provider of the year award❤️❤️

As a project,we work incredibly hard to help change the lives of young people through cycling, and Bikeability plays a huge part in this.

We are incredibly honoured to have the privilege of teaching young people across Canterbury, Whitstable, and Herne Bay and and in addition, this year, we will be delivering Bikeability across Dover and Deal.

As a project, we remove barriers preventing children from cycling. We deliver Bikeability to schools at no cost to schools or parents. We hold free monthly learn to ride sessions, helping children begin their cycling journey. This year, we have created an inclusive cycling provision with a fleet of adaptive bikes. This means we now have the resources and equipment to help children with disabilities enjoy cycling. These adaptive bikes will be available at our Betteshanger Park Project, and we will also have the ability to take these adaptive bikes to schools.

A huge thanks to my amazing team for their hard work and dedication in making a difference to the lives of young people❤️❤️

Just to be shortlisted is fantastic recognition for the work we do❤️❤️❤️

AMAZING NEWS!!!🚴🏾‍♂️❤️❤️

Last Friday, we received confirmation that we have been awarded The Bikeability contract for the Dover District❤️❤️

This is in addition to our Canterbury, Whitstable, and Herne Bay contracts.❤️

We have now contacted all 32 schools across the Dover District and will start booking them in over the coming days ❤️

Through Bikeability, we are helping to change the lives of children through cycling. As a project, we remove the barriers preventing children from taking part in this valuable training. We do not make charge to families or schools, meaning we deliver this amazing training completely free of charge. We also provide bikes and helmets during the training.

With our new project at Betteshanger Park, our delivery model will expand to all SEN schools across the district, offering level 1 training in a traffic free environment using our fleet of adaptive bikes. ❤️❤️

We will be helping over 600 children across Dover begin their cycling journey.❤️

This morning, we met an amazing 82 year old lady who is still actively cycling every day❤️

The not so good news was some little toe rag had stolen her bike from her garden!!

As luck would have it, this little beauty had just come through the workshop, so we happily donated this bike to her.

To see people of this age still cycling is amazing, and we hope this bike helps her with her daily ride.

A new addition to our inclusive cycling fleet❤️❤️

This amazing wheelchair transporter bike will give even more people the opportunity to enjoy cycling at our Betteshanger Park Project.

This bike will enable parents, carers, and health care professionals the opportunity to bring along a friend, relative, or patient in their own wheelchair❤️

The wheelchair simply rolls onto the platform and then straps securely in place. ❤️

Then, with its electric motor, you will be able to take it for a leisurely around our amazing tarmac track. This bike will be free to hire❤️

Unfortunately, as the bike had not been used for some time, the battery has gone into hibernation mode and requires a new battery. A replacement battery will cost £940 for which we will have to raise these funds.

If you would like to help us with the funding of a new battery, please get in touch.
