Namaste! Welcome to the University of Kent Nepalese Society, also known as ‘Kent NepSoc’. Nestled in the heart of the Himalayas lies the beautiful country, Nepal; home to many traditions and cultures that date back beyond history. We have 100 languages spoken in Nepal and are universally known for our warm smiles. Our aim is to promote Nepali culture and traditions and establish a society with div

ersity. We plan to organise lots of events including socials, various indoor and outdoor activities and fund raising programs. UKC NepSoc openly welcomes all the members of the university to join us for exciting experience. COMMITTEE MEMBERS 2017/2018:

Hi guys! Hope you’ve all had an amazing summer and we look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks. An opportunity to be the treasurer for our committee has come up and we would like to open it up to the whole society before we make further decisions regarding the position. For this position, all we ask of the individual is for them to be enthusiastic and also a paying member of the society. A list of main duties has been listed below.

- To monitor finances of UKC NepSoc
- To deliver updates to the committee on budgets and expenditure
- To attend and actively participate in committee meetings

Hi guys! Univeristy of Leeds Nepalese Society will be hosting an acoustic night on the 8th of June to raise money for CYF Nepal and Haushala Creatives. Even if you can’t be there in person, any donation will be very helpful and much appreciated! We will be working with these charities for the next academic year so this is also a chance for you to get to know what they do!
