Millennials Breaking Barriers
This is a group designed by students, for students. Our aims are to diminish stigma surrounding stress, mental wellbeing and other issues within the student community. MBB is inclusive, friendly and open to anyone, whether you are looking to meet new people, discuss the issues that affect you or just learn from others experience then please get involved. MBB will be m

eeting up every fortnight at the Canterbury Umbrella Centre, a local charity supporting people with mental health in the community. The group sessions will be after charity hours and we hope this will provide a platform for healthy debate and discussion away from campus. Please feel free to contact any of our admins for more information or if you wish to discuss something one to one. Lastly, welcome! Please make yourself at home and utilise this as an outlet for any issues that may be affecting you, respect for others is vital and please take the time to listen to others experience.

Hi all,
We would really appreciate it if you could take the time to fill out this questionnaire! It takes 5 minutes, and is very relevant to our current situation. More details from the researcher are below- thanks!

"Hi my name is Eleanor Richards. I am a third year Social Anthropology student conducting my dissertation on how the COVID-19 pandemic has effected young peoples mental health. This questionnaire is researching how social media and negative news headlines are impacting mental health. If you have a spare few minutes, are between the ages 18-25 and have no medical history of a mental health disorder, I would really appreciate your involvement! Thank you 🙂"
