Countryside Education Trust

Countryside Education Trust We run a residential centre on a farm in a forest by a river near the sea - how lucky can you be!

We connect people of all ages with the countryside from our beautiful sites in the New Forest: schools, groups of friends, playgroups, older members of the community, we have something for everyone! School residential groups, day visits for schools or clubs, visits to the farm or treehouses for care home residents, large public events, playgroups, rural courses and after school clubs feature! Or come and stay with friends for a countryside weekend, or even get married here!

We have animal feed sessions available to book on to during the remainder of the school holidays.

These are for groups of up to 10 people and are available to book through our website.

Dates we have left to book are: August 18th, 19th, 21st, 28th and 31st. September 1st - 4th.

Animal feeds are a perfect opportunity to tour the farm, meet the animals and learn about how we care for our livestock. There will also be the chance to interact more closely with some of the animals.

Get in touch if you have any questions!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to the Solent Orchestra for supporting our charity with their summer concert. It was a fabulous evening of entertainment which raised £221.80 and gave us the opportunity to spread the word about CET with a wider audience.

And just look at these smiling faces - thank you to all the wonderful players!

Explore Your Outdoors is back for 2026!

This was an extremely fun event last year and is the perfect opportunity to try lots of different outdoor activities including archery, pony walks, pond dipping and BattleZone Laser Tag. There will also be a pop-up cafe with food and drinks as well as a chance to meet some sheep.

And what better setting than in our beautiful, ancient woodland.

Entry tickets MUST be pre booked on our website. These are free for under 3's and over 65's (while stock lasts) and are £2 for everyone else. Some activities will have an additional charge on the day.

Tickets available at: https://www.cet.org.uk/events/explore-your-outdoors/

See you there!
