Massive thank you to all the Explorers and leaders who helped marshal at Mud Run! 💪 From cheering runners on to keeping the course running smoothly, everyone did an amazing job supporting the event. After a full day of marshalling, many of them even took on the course themselves at the end of the day! 🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you as well to Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre for putting on another brilliant event. It was great to see so many people getting involved and showing the teamwork and energy that makes events so special.

In January, Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre was buzzing as the Hampshire Scouts Young Leader Rally brought together young people from across the county to connect, learn and develop their leadership skills.

The event was full of energy, networking and future leaders, showing just how strong the Young Leader community is.

Kudu 2025 — What a night!

This weekend over 200 young people, 40+ teams, and 8 bases took on Hampshire Scouts’ Kudu night hike, completing over 300 base check-ins along the way.

Big congratulations to this year’s winners:
🥇 Gold Route: Denewulf Merlin Explorers
🥈 Silver Route: Wi******er Trident Explorers
🥉 Bronze Route: Joint 1st — 1st Bramshill A & 1st Itchen Hamble

From the first team heading out at 5pm to the final team arriving back just before 4am, every young person showed incredible determination, teamwork and spirit.

Huge thanks to all our volunteers — from event organisers to base teams, route walkers, comms, and everyone who supported the night. Events like Kudu simply wouldn’t happen without you.
