Last chance to sign up for the Bangers & Cash Rally! 🚗

Entries close on Tuesday 30 June, so if you've been thinking about taking part, now's the time to sign up.

Join fellow fundraisers for the road trip of a lifetime on this year's "Lakes and Highlands" route, travelling through the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Scottish Highlands before finishing with a seaside celebration.

Bring your own car, gather your team, pick a theme and set off on a five-day adventure from Thursday 17 – Monday 21 September, all while raising vital funds for Ashgate Hospice. 💜

A massive thank you to High Peak Comps for their incredible support so far this year. 💜

They donated 150 Easter eggs for our Easter hampers for patients and the people important to them, provided prizes for fundraising raffles including Ninja blenders, Lego sets, Ring doorbells and a Ninja cooker, and made a donation through their Community Wheel.

High Peak Comps have also supported more than 10 Ashgate fundraisers in the community, sponsoring challenges and donating prizes to help our supporters raise as much as possible for local hospice care.

We're so grateful for their ongoing support and commitment to helping us continue providing care and support to patients and the people important to them across North Derbyshire.

UPDATE: Parking at Chesterfield Football Club is now FREE of charge for Sparkle Night Walk participants.

Following a positive response from Chesterfield Football Club, free parking will be available at the stadium for all Sparkle Night Walk participants. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Chesterfield Football Club for their generosity and support of the event.

If you park at Chesterfield Football Club, you must enter your vehicle registration number on the tablet located in the Hub, next to Chester's Den inside the Event Village, when you arrive.

Failure to register your vehicle may result in a parking charge being issued. Please note that free parking is valid for 24 hours.

Parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

We apologise if you have already paid for parking using the link provided in previous communications. Chesterfield Football Club has advised that anyone who has already made a payment should contact HOZAH directly to discuss refund options.

To help reduce congestion and ensure spaces are available for those who need them, we encourage participants to car share or arrange to be dropped off where possible.

Additional overflow parking is available at ASDA and is also free of charge.

If you choose to park elsewhere in the local area, please be mindful and courteous of residents and other road users. Please park considerately, avoid blocking driveways, access points or pavements, and follow any local parking restrictions.

Our designated drop-off point is at the Batch House. If you are arriving by taxi, please ask your driver to use the Batch House drop-off point.

However, with the high temperatures forecast, we would advise people to consider whether it is safe and comfortable for them to travel and attend.

A huge congratulations to 11-year-old Jamie, who completed an incredible 10-mile walk from Sheffield United's football ground to Chesterfield FC's SMH Group Stadium. ⚽

Jamie took on the challenge to raise money for two causes close to his heart. He raised an amazing £415.27 for Ashgate Hospice and £415.27 for his football team, Chesterfield Junior Blues FC.

At the finish line, Jamie was welcomed by Ashley Bear and Chester the Mouse, who were there to congratulate him on his fantastic achievement.

Well done, Jamie – you're a superstar! 💜
