What an amazing day celebrating our Armed Forces with and at .djs ! We watched an incredible Harriet flypast, enjoyed lots of dancing, explored military vehicles, and even stepped aboard a beautiful vintage Regency bus. ✈️🪖🚌

A special highlight was Corporal Tompsett heartfelt rendition of We'll Meet Again, which made the day even more memorable. 🎶❤️

Thank you to everyone who made the event so special and to all those who serve, have served, and their families.

Yesterday, Flight Sgt Swift had the incredible privilege of attending Trooping the Colour with Sussex Wing RAF Air Cadets in London.

It was a truly memorable day, celebrating the King's Official Birthday and witnessing one of the UK's most iconic ceremonial events. Among the highlights, Flight Sgt Swift was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of King Charles III and experience the spectacular flypast featuring the world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team.



An unforgettable opportunity to be part of a historic national celebration and represent Sussex Wing on such a special occasion. 🇬🇧✈️

Over the past few parade nights 266 had got up to a series of tasks. Including a three team battle ships radio task, and a collection of leadership challenges. 🚢🛳️⛴️
Both senior and junior cadets have been practicing managing teams and working together.
An impressive new record was set for the magic carpet challenge as well, thanks to the determination and team work displayed. 🎉🎉🎉
Our NCO team has been out and about collecting badges like silver first aid and masters in classification. So hopefully they can bring back so new ideas to run on squadron! ⛑️📚🩹

A great end to the year for 226! Last week we had a visit from Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance, and an Inter-flight Christmas tree decorating competition - well done to the winners Hurricane Flight - and of course the end of year Christmas Party. A great end to a great year. See you in January!
