Sometimes the most meaningful things cost less than a coffee. A bottle of shampoo💆🏻‍♀️. A pack of wipes 🧻. Simple, everyday items that can mean everything to a mum who’s exhausted, stretched and navigating those first few weeks. 🐣

Baby Basics Brighton puts together essential packs for new families in our community who need a little extra support and we couldn’t do it without people like you.

This Mother's Day, we're thinking about all the mums. The mothers celebrating today, and the new mothers who are just finding their feet 💛

Those first weeks after having a baby are unlike anything else. Exhausting, overwhelming, beautiful and hard all at once. Every new mum deserves to feel supported, seen and cared for.

At Baby Basics Brighton, we put together essential packs for new mothers who need a little extra help. From toiletries to baby basics – the small things that make a big difference when you're running on no sleep.

Once upon a time, someone read you a story. And it mattered more than you knew. 📚

This World Book Day, as little ones up and down Brighton dress up as their favourite characters, it's a beautiful reminder that stories shape us – and the earlier they start, the better.

At Baby Basics Brighton, we believe every baby deserves a book. If your own little readers have grown out of their baby books, why not give them a new home? Baby Basics Brighton provides essentials to families who need them most and a loved board book can mean the world to a new mum and her baby. 💛

We’ve been busy since being back - here’s what we’ve been up to!

💛 Grew our volunteering team to 9
🧺 Made 5 baskets this month - each packed with 83 items for mother and baby
🫧 Lots of laundry, ironing and sorting through beautiful donations
🎁 Everything prepped with love and ready to go

We are so back!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Baby Basics Brighton is up and running again! The team are excited to build baskets for our new mothers and babies across Brighton and Hove. We’d love to have you be a part of this journey, find out what you can donate to help.

We have a collection point at the Clarendon Centre, 47 New England Street, Brighton, BN1 4GQ.
This is easily accessed between
10:00am – 1:00pm Thursday and
09:00am – 12:30pm and 5:30pm – 7:30pm Sunday
