Did you know we had a Saxon Group RDA roll of honour board?
This board was fundraiser for by one of our riders, Darren, Who dyed his hair blonde to fundraiser for Saxon Group RDA, we used the funds to purchase the board which is displayed upon entry to the group. This board is used to display winners of our in group awards such as the horse care award, long service awards, kings coronation cup, the blue award and any National awards won within our group!
The newest addition to our RDA roll of honour board is the wonderful Tuck! Tuck is lent to our group by a coach in training, summer, and very much enjoys his RDA role! At the national championships tuck was nominated by one of our coaches, Kady, and the team at Muirfield Riding Therapy for the Harvey cup! The harvey cup is for the best all round horse of the championships, the equine has to demonstrate versatility, a good temperament and positive attitude to the weekend event!
Tuck was nominated due to his exceptional performance at the Nationals, while carrying his owner, summer, though her classes and pulling out a tip top dressage test and overall class champion in the level four showjumping, he also carried alexa from Muirfield Riding Therapy through her second ever unled dressage test and pulled out a phenominal score and last minute stepped up for one of our independent riders, ella, to compete in the level 3 showjumping when her horse was unable to and gained the duo overall class champion! he also qualified Alexa and summer for the British dressage para summer championships!
Over the weekend tuck demonstrated his versatility and impeccable temperament and attitude, the team at RDA nationals who decide on the winner chose tuck as the RDA national championships Harvey cup winner 2026 🏆 Tuck you are a star, you will turn your hoof to any job and will always be a calm presence for any rider or participant!
