Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust

Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust Conserving and enhancing Bradford on Avon's heritage from Saxon times through to today. The Trust is more than a preservation body.

Our aim is to maintain and encourage the scenic, historic and architectural values of buildings and land in Bradford on Avon and its neighbourhood. We believe that buildings built in every century have contributed to the fabric of our town and so we understand the importance of integrating new buildings in the area. We have over 50 years of experience, campaigning and helping restore buildings of

importance to the architectural heritage of Bradford on Avon. Our positive approach to the town in the 21st century, includes undertaking environmental projects as well as showing an active interest in planning.

Proposed development on Trowbridge Road. There are questions about the designation of the site as grey belt and the role of Wiltshire Council since their local plan has been rejected.

Consultation ends 11 April.

Waddeton Park is preparing an outline planning application for land off Trowbridge Road, part of which is known as the Beehive Field, for a high-quality new development which will deliver significant benefits to the town.

Thank you so much to all the businesses who supported the Kindness Festival this weekend. You displayed hearts in your windows, gave away hearts and posted little hearts all round your shelves. As the wise Aesop once said, 'No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.' 💕
