We’re celebrating Community Transport Week 2026!

On Monday, we came together to celebrate the wonderful contribution made by our volunteer drivers.
Car drivers, minibus drivers, minibus companions and service users joined us for a special event.
We were also honoured to welcome Mayor Zoe Metcalfe, represenatives form North Yorkshire Council and Church Lane surgery.

A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers for the time, care and dedication you give to helping people stay connected and independent. You make a real difference in our community every day.

What a lovely BCC outing yesterday at the Scarborough Fair Collection & Vintage Transport Museum! 🎪🚗✨
Some of our fantastic BCC members, joined by our team member Sue, had the absolute pleasure of spending the day exploring the wonderful collection of vintage vehicles, classic fairground rides, and mechanical organ- rounded off with a delicious afternoon tea!
A massive special thanks to Mike, our volunteer driver, for getting everyone there and back safely, and to our wonderful helper Anne for supporting everyone throughout the day. People like Mike and Anne truly make these outings possible! 🙌❤️

Onward to the next adventure! 📸👇
