It’s a great way to stay active without feeling like you’re doing a tiring workout.

Last week we welcomed 21 adults, and the energy in the room was fantastic.

If you fancy getting active, come and join us on Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon for some good music, great energy and plenty of moving and grooving! 💃🎶

No pressure, just move, groove, sing along!
Whatever gets you moving!

What a day! ❤️

Celebrate Sandwell at West Bromwich Town Hall was buzzing yesterday with conversations, activities, services and lots of lovely people.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall to say hello, purchase our handmade items or have a go at our creative activity. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces too!

And a very special shoutout to our amazing volunteers Sukhi, Kam, Barbara and Joy who worked so hard behind the scenes making things to sell and then stayed to sell them!

Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised a whopping £206.47!

Every penny will go towards our fantastic Female Inspirations women’s group, helping us continue to create welcoming spaces for women to connect, be creative and spend time together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday such a lovely day.

What a wonderful day celebrating community, creativity and the memory of Richard Flatley at Celebrate Sandwell. ❤️

It was a real pleasure for OUTSIDE THE BOX – Creative Thinking Space to be part of such a special event at West Bromwich Town Hall, alongside so many local organisations, businesses and people bringing the Sandwell community together.

Today was also a beautiful opportunity to remember Richard. We feel incredibly grateful that we had the chance to know him. He was always so kind, encouraging and supportive of our organisation and what we were trying to create. His support meant more to us than he probably ever realised.

It was wonderful to meet so many people today, have conversations, share creativity and simply be part of this community.

Thank you to everyone who came over to our table, said hello and created something with us. 💛

And a very special thank you to everyone who supported our organisation by purchasing handmade items created by participants from our workshops. Your support means so much to us and helps us continue creating opportunities, activities and a welcoming creative space for our community.

A beautiful day, a wonderful community, and a very special person to remember. Richard, you are greatly missed.

Today at Female Inspirations, we got creative with a relaxing Word Jumble activity.

Everyone enjoyed the calm, mindful process of playing with words and creating something of their own, and some lovely work was created.

The session was led by Kam Jandu, who kindly volunteered her time and brought her own creative idea to the group. It’s lovely to see the women in our group sharing their creativity and ideas with each other. 🩷 Thank you

Today we said goodbye to summer with a fantastic family picnic organised by KGM Koło Gospodyń Miejskich ☀️

And of course, we brought a little bit of creativity from Outside the Box for the little and big members of our Polish community! 🎨 It looks like everyone had a lot of fun.

Thank you to KGM for organising such a great event. So much effort, care and preparation goes into making something like this happen behind the scenes.

Well done, ladies! You did a brilliant job!

✨ Another beautiful Thursday evening with Female Inspirations! ✨

Last Thursday we came together for another inspiring evening workshop at Thimblemill Library, this time led by the wonderful Emily Stevens . 💛

Our theme was Inner Universe, inspired by the idea of the Overview Effect — the powerful shift in perspective astronauts often describe when they see Earth from space. 🌍✨

Through colour, imagination and creativity, we explored our own inner worlds, connection, perspective and the way we see ourselves as part of something much bigger.

It was a beautiful, thoughtful and surprisingly deep workshop — a chance not only to create, but also to pause, reflect and look at things from a slightly different point of view.

A huge thank you to Emily for creating such a warm, inspiring and meaningful session, and to everyone who joined us. 💫

And now some good news for everyone who works during the day! 🙌

From this Thursday, our evening workshops are moving a little later so you have more time to finish work, travel and arrive without rushing.

Last month, some of our creative sessions were a little challenging. Not everything went according to plan😱but we experimented, adapted, tried something different and made it work! Because creativity teaches us things that go far beyond the creative session. We take risks, make mistakes, change things, laugh, try again… and sometimes start completely over.

It’s okay to start again.

And tomorrow, we’re having a little fun with words. Who knows what we’ll create, something meaningful, something funny, or possibly something that makes absolutely no sense!
That’s the joy of being creative.
