Early Help Edgbaston & Northfield

Early Help Edgbaston & Northfield Edgbaston & Northfield Early Help connects families and young people to organisations, providing them with support.

We offer advice, support and guidance to all families living in Edgbaston & Northfield. Edgbaston & Northfield Early Help is part of Gateway Family Services and we coordinate the Early Help for children and families across the Edgbaston & Northfield Localities. Working together with people and organisations locally we can quickly and effectively connect families to the best local support. Early He

lp could include support with food or the cost of fuel, for other families it could be support with accessing childcare or help getting in to education, employment or training. It could be helping someone involved in a positive activity to reduce isolation or it could be emotional support that prevents a mental health problem from developing. To access support for your family, or if you work with a family you think could benefit from Early Help, please complete a Family Connect Form.

πŸ“–How does it work?
Bring along a few books from home in good condition that you'd be happy to swap. For each book you bring, you'll receive a ticket to swap for another book. You'll also get a few tickets just for coming along, so don't worry if you don't have any to let go of.

πŸ“–What kind of books?
Children's and adult's books - novels, non-fiction, board books - all are welcome!

We have also had a lovely donation of books from the Literacy Trust to swap from too.
