Round Table clubs raise over £4 million a year for local communities and good causes, whilst volunteering more than 160,000 hours.

This August, Round Table are bringing the chaos to the University of Colchester for the NSW Gladiator Games 💪

As part of National Sports Week, expect:

😂 Big laughs
🤝 Even bigger camaraderie

Whether you’re ultra-competitive or just there for the atmosphere and inevitable wipeouts, the Gladiator Games are all about getting involved, meeting good people, and having a brilliant weekend.

No elite athletic ability required.
Just a sense of humour and a willingness to throw yourself into the madness.

It's Men's Health Week - and while Round Table is built around friendship, fun and community… this stuff matters too 👊

Because looking after yourself shouldn’t be something blokes only think about when something’s already wrong.

That means:
🩺 Booking the check-up
🧠 Checking in on your mental health
⚽ Checking your balls
👍 Talking openly when things aren’t great
👨‍⚕️ Getting advice about prostate health when you need to

No awkwardness or pretending you’re indestructible.
No “I’ll deal with it later” for the next 7 years.

Looking after your health, physical and mental, isn’t weak, dramatic or embarrassing.

It’s just part of being human.

So this Men’s Health Week, check in with yourself… and check in with your mates too ❤️

🚀 Kick Off Weekend - Developing Leaders, Strengthening Areas, Growing Round Table

This weekend in Leeds, Area Chairs, Regional Chairs, and the National Board came together for our Kick Off Weekend - a focused workshop designed to strengthen Area teams, share best practice and build the confidence and skills that help every Table grow.

Across two days we explored how strong Area structures support recruitment, how to champion the stories happening across our Tables, and how we can empower more members to step up, lead and make an impact locally.

From breakout sessions to a proper Table Night activity, the energy in the room showed exactly what’s possible when we work together with purpose.

And this is just the start.

Next up is our Membership Growth Workshop Weekend - Belfast, 25–26 July, open to anyone passionate about helping Round Table expand into new towns and communities.

We’ll be honest…
Yes, there’s often a pint involved when Round Tablers get together.

But it’s never really been about the beer.

It’s really about:
➡ The catch-ups after a long day.
➡ The stories that get better every time they’re told.
➡ The laughs you didn’t know you needed.

Because at its core, Round Table is simple:

Sometimes that’s over a drink.

Fresh air. Good company. A reason to get moving 🚴‍♂️

It’s National Bike Week, and there’s no better excuse to get outside, clear your head and enjoy a bit of time on two wheels.

Whether it’s a gentle ride on your own, a proper workout with a mate, or a misguided venture on a 6-man bike with the turning circle of an oil tanker and brakes to match.… it’s amazing what a difference a few miles on the open road can make.

At Round Table, it’s moments like this that matter.

Getting active. Having a laugh. Looking after your wellbeing alongside people who quickly become your best mates.

Because sometimes, the best conversations and memories don’t happen sitting still.

Men don't always say they need support.

We say we're "busy"
We say we're "fine"
We say "we should catch up soon"... but it never quite happens.

Making and keeping friendships as an adult isn't always easy and life can get in the way, with routine taking over, and weeks turning into months.

But what we need isn't complicated.

It's a few good mates, a place to show up, a laugh after a long day, and people we know we can count on.

That's what Round Table is - a group of good people. looking out for each other and enjoying life along the way, with friends that soon become family.

Work's done, the weekend is here and it's time for good food, good laughs and spending time with the people who make life better ☀️

Whether it's family, mates, a trip to the pub, a BBQ or just getting out and about and doing something different - weekends are about making memories with the right people.
