Whether you’re catching up with friends, gathering the family, meeting up with your sports team, bringing your community together or having a festive get-together at work, it’s the perfect excuse to put the kettle on and enjoy a little Christmas cheer!

Here’s how easy it is:

☕ PUT THE KETTLE ON — gather your favourite people and turn up the Christmas tunes!
❤️ MAKE A SUGGESTED DONATION OF £3 — help CHUMS support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children, young people, adults, and families.

That’s it! no big plans, no fancy baking required, just a cuppa, a treat and a chance to make a difference.

Join CHUMS MK Young Carers for a special Carers Rights Day Event

📍 Moorlands Family Centre, 6–7 Dodkin, Beanhill, Milton Keynes, MK6 4LP
📅 Thursday 19 November 2026 | 9am–4pm

Join the team to learn about young carers’ rights, share experiences and take part in fun, creative activities, including designing a superhero, creating a rights passport and expressing ideas through art.

Every young carer has the right to:

- Be heard and supported at school.
- Request a Young Carer’s Assessment.
- Enjoy breaks, hobbies and friendships.
- Access information and support.

If you or someone you know may be a young carer, speak to a teacher, Young Carers Lead in school, trusted adult, health professional or CHUMS MK Young Carers.

Remember: Your needs matter, you are not alone, and you have the right to ask for help!

Could your business turn a day on the golf course into support for a local family?

CHUMS helps children, young people, adults and families cope with grief, trauma and emotional distress and find a way forward.

That could mean helping a child understand the death of a parent, supporting a family after su***de, or giving a young person somewhere to talk about what they’re going through.

We need your help to keep this support available.

A family turned to CHUMS for support and 23 years later they still remember.🧡💜

Every now and then, a message comes along that really stays with you. This is one of those messages.

Over the weekend, we received a donation from someone, who was supported by CHUMS following the heartbreaking loss of their partner. Alongside their donation, they shared a message with us:
“It’s now 23 years since CHUMS supported me through the death of my partner and their support has shaped the lives of my children so much.”

Reading these words really meant a lot to us. To know that the support we offered all those years ago is still remembered today is something very special.

Twenty-three years is a long time. In that time, children grow up, families change and life moves forward. But for this person, the support they received from CHUMS all those years ago has never been forgotten.

This year, they were Captain of a local golf society and raised an incredible £583 for CHUMS on their Captain’s Day. Knowing that someone who once needed our support is now helping us to be there for other families means so much. We’re incredibly grateful that, after all these years, they have chosen to give back in this way. Helping us to be there for other children, young adults, and families who are facing their own difficult challenges when they need us most.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports CHUMS. You may never know the difference you make to a family, but stories like this remind us that the impact of that support can last a lifetime. ❤️
