🎃👻 Making a difference, one act at a time!

We had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween at Queens Court Residential Home, bringing together the young people we support at Link to Change and residents for an afternoon of fun, laughter and connection! 🧡🕸️

It was a great opportunity to bring generations together, build meaningful relationships and show how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in our community. 💚🩷

We brought along bracelet-making and pumpkin-painting activities, giving everyone the chance to get creative, try something new and learn new skills. It was lovely to see some of the residents really enjoying these activities, with some excited to learn new skills they could share with their grandchildren!

Through initiatives like this, we’re proud to support the Movement and encourage young people to use their voices, time and talents to make a positive difference in the world around them.

Because social action starts with us, and everyone has the power to make a difference! 🙌✨

A few weeks ago, our staff and Trustees came together for an away day at our Bedford office 🩷

It was a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect and strengthen our relationships as we enter a new chapter and period of transition at Link to Change.

After an incredible seven years as our CEO, Hayley Wardle is moving on to her next chapter. Hayley has given so much to Link to Change, and we’re incredibly grateful for her leadership, passion and commitment. We wish her every success for the future. Thank you, Hayley! 💚

A huge thank you also to Hilary Barnard for facilitating our day — and for the photos! 📸

As Chair, I came away feeling confident that, while change can be unsettling, we’ve got this. Our focus remains firmly on ensuring that our outstanding services for young people affected by exploitation and abuse continue to be at the heart of everything we do.

I’m incredibly proud to be associated with such an impactful organisation, and hugely grateful to all our staff and Trustees for their unwavering commitment and support.

Some are loud. Some are quiet. Some lead from the front. Some lead in their own way.

But every young person brings something unique to the world.
