2nd St Neots Scout Group 2nd St Neots Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, and Squirrels We are the 2nd St Neots Scouts, Cubs and Beavers group. It’s a real adventure for them.

We meet on a Monday through to Friday evenings at the Scout Hut in the St Neots Football Club, on Loves Farm. Our members take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, visits, community events, good turns, map reading, camp cooking and first aid along with plenty of outdoor activities. Parents tell us their children benefit hugely from the adventures, fun and friendships they experience. It can help develop social skills and independence, and give them access to some amazing and memorable opportunities. They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. Our beavers colony is planning to pack up Christmas shoe boxes for those children less fortunate than our own at Christmas time. We have to do this in plenty of time to get the boxes shipped to Eastern Europe /Ukraine through the charity Link to Hope.

If anyone would like to donate any of the following items toward this this im sure they would be really grateful. We will leave a cardboard box in the lobby of the scout hut. The deadline for donations is the 22nd Oct.

The Squirrels have had a fantastic first couple of weeks of term! We’ve been working hard on making our scarecrow, we’ve done scarecrow themed colouring and enjoyed games and soft axe throwing!

Our carefully crafted (and very carefully transported!) Beaver scarecrows have now made it safely to the Great Paxton Scarecrow Festival and are ready for the weekend!

Our groups have been getting creative this week, making their very own scarecrows ready for the Great Paxton Scarecrow Festival

There was plenty of teamwork, imagination and a LOT of straw involved! The Beavers worked together to bring their scarecrow creations to life, and we think they’ve done an amazing job. 🥰

Last night at beavers we celebrated Beavers 40th birthday. We had party games, party food and even made a time capsule for the beavers of the future. We ended the night with our investments and awards
