From planting and tending to harvesting fresh produce, every helping hand plays a part in supporting people in need.

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers for giving their time and helping Inspero grow something that truly matters.

The Benefits of Volunteering

Volunteering is not just about giving your time — it can be good for you too.

Here are just a few of the benefits:

• Boosts wellbeing – fresh air and outdoor activity can help you sleep better and feel good.
• Builds resilience – learning new skills and working with others can develop patience and confidence.
• Connects you with food – gain a better understanding of where our food comes from.
• Inspires younger generations – children can learn about nature, responsibility and growing food.
• Strengthens our community – supporting local food growing helps build a more resilient community.

A Buzzing Summer in Our Community Garden

There’s plenty happening in our community garden this summer, and our pollinators are certainly making the most of it!

Our wonderful volunteer Barbara has written a lovely article exploring the bees and other pollinators that visit the garden, the important role they play and how we can create spaces where they can thrive.

If you’d like to discover more about the tiny visitors helping our garden flourish, have a read of Barbara’s article.
