We start our winter coppicing on Saturday. From 10:00 to 13:00 in Cowdown Copse, Oakley. The area to be worked is shown in the pic.
Other dates for September are Wed 10th and 24th, and Sat 20th. All 10:00 to 13:00.

Oakley Woodlands Group is waking up from it's summer slumbers with an appearance at The Oakley Village Show yesterday. We had a great day in the sunshine and signed up nine new potential volunteers. Probably our best recruitment day since The Group was formed last century. Work proper starts again on 6th September. P.s. the skep belonged to the stand next door.
