We bring our Stitchers wellbeing, a purpose, and community.

Providing groups, workshops& learning, bringing Crafters & Stitchers together.

400+ volunteers use their hobbies & skills, providing over 42,000 items per year, to support others around the UK.

We are looking for event volunteers to support our fundraising events in and around Basingstoke in 2027.

Do you enjoy working with children, adults and families? having fun while delivering educational and exciting activities to our communities?

From planning, organising, implementing and taking part at events, we'd love to hear from you.

Last year we created 5 projects, which attended 42 days of events.
This successfully raised over £4000!!
All funding raised helps Oakley Stitchers CIC and our 500+ volunteers, provide local community support and items which supported over 35,000 people around the UK.

We are looking for 4 volunteers to help for 1 day, helping run our teddy hospital on the 7th Nov at oakridge Hall for all, between 11-5.

Teddy hospital is an interactive experience for children and families to understand some of the 'scary' machines in a hospital, understand the process, while being in control of the situation, supporting their buddy's.

We start at triage to book in, moving through mri, CT, x-ray sight and hearing . With our surgical team on hand for any minor injuries.

This is such a fun and valuable experience benefiting the children, wider family, hospital teams and patients to feel more confident and relaxed, should any of these procedures be needed.

This is one day only, supporting the families at home start's family event ...so do please get involved to help make our teddy hospital as much fun as possible.

Volunteers and shop manager (expenses payment can be claimed) needed on Mondays and Tuesdays in our amazing preloved crafting and stitchers shop. Sorting donations, supporting customers, making t and coffee, handling money etc
We are open from 10-6 Mondays and 10-4 Tuesdays.

Please pop into the wote st club on a mon / tues to see what we do and pick up an application form

If you would like a free workout on a Monday 8-9 30and/or Tuesday 4-5.30, to help us set up and clear down the shop... we would love to hear from you too. 😉🤪
