The Durham Infancy and Sleep Centre (DISC) are currently undertaking research to understand how and why parents/carers use adult-worn baby slings or carriers, and how they find information. The project is funded by a research grant from Lullaby Trust.

They have created a survey to gather information from parents and carers on sling and carrier use, knowledge of sling/carrier safety, and awareness of guidance and sources of information. They are especially seeking parents or carers that have a baby under 12 months old to complete the survey.

The survey will open on 22nd April 2025 and will close on 20th May 2025.

The survey can be accessed through the link below: https://durhamuniversity.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8GsWSswXQrIAHRQ

If you have any queries or require further information, please contact the DISC team at: [email protected]
