The teenage years can be tricky. Suddenly, creative kids are told creative careers aren't "real jobs." Video games replace art projects. School subjects become more academic, and creative subjects often disappear from the curriculum.
But what about the young people who thrive on creativity? The ones who put on theatre shows in the living room, the artists with mountains of drawings, the gamers building entire worlds?
Right now, it's often only the most privileged who get the chance to truly thrive. Too many creative teens miss out on reaching their full potential simply because their families can't afford extra-curricular activities.
That's exactly why we started the Creative Club: a welcoming space where creative teens can express themselves, explore their talents, and feel supported—without financial barriers.
We offer a sliding scale payment option that suits your family's budget. This isn't charity. We believe in valuing creativity and the people who make these sessions possible. Your contribution—whatever the amount—helps cover teachers' wages, materials, and venue hire.
We're incredibly grateful for funding from Basingstoke and Deane Council, SNG, and the National Lottery Community Fund. Their support helps us keep Creative Club accessible and sustainable.
If you'd like to support Creative Club or know a family who could benefit, we'd love to hear from you! 💚
