We are looking for donations for our Christmas fete. In particular for the tombolas we run. They're always popular and raise lots of money, so the more we get donated the less we have to take from raised funds.

Chocolate/sweets tombola - Any kind of chocolate or sweets that are in date and sealed.

Bottle tombola - any bottle of any kind as long as it's new and sealed. Can be deodorant, shower gel, alcohol, soft drinks etc

Raffle prizes - can be anything from a voucher for a service, voucher for a place, hampers or items that can go in hampers.

Items can ve sent into school or we also have an amazon wishlist that gives some ideas of things and you can just buy the item and it gets sent straight to the school.

No matter how small the donation it all goes a long way.

and Ethan are both siblings of pupils who attend Pioneer School. They have both recently completed fundraising activities to raise money for the red corridor of the school. Weir class have cashed theirs in for lots of resources for the classroom such as puzzles, Tonies and outdoor equipment. Simmonds and Pankhurst have used theirs to pay for the panto trip they do annually that the children love and look forward to.

Thank you both for raising money for the school and look forward to seeing what other classes spend their share on.

It's back! Our Christmas fete is happening on the 5th December.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

In order for events like this to happen we need volunteers to help.

We need people to help run the stalls on the day. Even if it's only for a couple of hours. We have some games stalls, raffle and food and drinks stalls that need volunteers for so if you can help please let us know.

We will also need donations of bottles of any kind (new and sealed) chocolates and sweets for our tombolas.

Any donations for the raffle no matter how small.

I've been asked to post out to the community to see if anyone can help with the finishing touches of the forest school area. So if anyone has any time they can come and help please contact school reception or email us at [email protected] and we can pass on to the school. X

Between 28th September and November 30th the Echo will have tokens printed in them that you can drop to school. There are chances to win lego resources for the school.

So if anyone would like to help out pick up the echo between these dates amd send in the tokensl that would be great. Got to be in it to win it.

Thank you to Stacey Williams and her colleagues from TUI who came and helped prep the forest school area and filling in cracks where it's been so dry. The pupils absolutely love the outdoor areas of the school so it's so important they're safe for the pupils. Thank you so much for donating your time. X

Morning.

I was playing around with AI the other day so thought I'd share this little flyer. Funny thing is I didn't tell chat GPT what clothes to put on us but the tops for myself and Claire are pretty accurate. 😂

Feel free to share our pages to anyone from the school or outside of the school.

We will be continuing to focus on the sensory garden this year. We want it to be used by all the pupils in the school so if you have any ideas of what you'd like to see in it let us know. We will start gathering quotes and designs from companies to get an idea of costings.

Hope all the pupils have settled back into school and eveyone had a lovely Summer.

During the summer participated in her 3rd 24hr readathon for the school raising over £800 for the classes in the red corridor. She's now completed 3 for all of the corridors in the school community.

Thank you so much Alice. You're amazing and your kindness isn't unnoticed.

Hi all, I'm a helen, SEND teacher at Pioneer and moving classroom for September.
If anyone is having a summer clear out, I wonder if you would have any of the following that you would be willing to donate please?..
- Games e.g. operation, jenga, pop up pirate type games.
- Gaming chairs.
- Sensory toys.
- Cushions.
- Gym balls / peanut balls.
- Lego / Duplo. Or other construction toys.
- Art / crafts resources.
- Trampette (trampoline).
- Musical instruments.
- Toy animals.
- Small world toys.
- Train sets / toys vehicles.
- Garden games.
