This weekend, Tom, John, Pete, Lee and Mark and partners joined hundreds of the Round Table Family in Sheffield for 😊

It was great to be surrounded by so many Tablers from not only across Great Britain & Ireland, but also many international Tablers too.

Thanks to continued support we were amazed to hear that more than £4.4 million was raised for charities and good causes across over the last year. 🙌

On Friday we took over Roxy Ballroom where we enjoyed a night of games from curling, to darts, to snooker and shuffleboard and even a bit of karaoke.

Our AGM was at Bramall lane, home of Sheffield Utd, followed by an evening at Steamworks where we enjoyed a band and DJ till the early hours.

Next year we’re off to Newcastle to celebrate an incredible 100 years of Round Table.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the last year, and here’s to an even more successful 2026/27.

Thank You for Making Santa’s Sleigh Truly Magical
What an incredible festive season it has been. A huge thank you to everyone across Basildon who supported this year’s Santa’s Sleigh. From the excited waves and smiling faces to the generous donations and kind words, you helped turn our streets into something truly magical.
Thanks to your support, Santa’s Sleigh has helped hundreds of people across Basildon and raised thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes. Every penny donated helps us give back to our community, not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.
This year, Santa and his team were out spreading Christmas cheer for 9 magical nights, covering 21 miles of festive routes. Along the way, with low membership numbers, we have an amazing bunch of volunteer friends and family who gave up their evenings to help make the sleigh run smoothly. Between them, they walked an incredible 4,729,200 steps — all in the name of Christmas spirit.
Of course, no sleigh journey would be complete without a few festive treats. Santa enjoyed around 40 mince pies to keep him going, while Rudolph happily munched his way through a few carrots to stay sleigh-ready night after night.
If you missed Santa on his travels, or if you’d still like to add a little extra Christmas cheer, it’s not too late to donate. Donations remain open via our website or by text, and every contribution — big or small — makes a real difference to local lives.
From everyone involved in Santa’s Sleigh, thank you for helping us spread joy, generosity, and Christmas magic across Basildon. We couldn’t do it without you.
