Ramblers Cymru Ramblers Cymru helps everyone, everywhere enjoy walking and protects the places we all love to walk. spam. sbam.

Mae Ramblers Cymru yn helpu pawb, ym mhobman i fwynhau cerdded ac yn amddiffyn y lleoedd rydyn ni i gyd wrth ein bodd yn cerdded. We are the only charity in Wales dedicated to looking after paths and green spaces, leading walks, opening up new places to explore and encouraging everyone to get outside and discover how walking boosts your health and your happiness. This page is a place for people to share where they love to walk, get inspired to get out walking, ask questions, find advice from the walking community, and hear about ways to support our fight to protect the places we love to wander. In order to keep things friendly, we ask our community members to follow some simple guidelines:

🥾 Be polite, courteous and respectful of others.

🥾 Do not post content that is discriminatory, obscene, inflammatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, profane or personally abusive.

🥾 Do not post anything that could be libellous or defamatory: if an accusation is made against a named person, for example at a member of staff or a volunteer, we will hide it.

🥾 Do not post adverts for commercial products or services.

🥾 Do not post about issues that are off topic i.e. We moderate this page routinely Mon-Fri and will use our own discretion to hide comments that go against these guidelines. We will let you know your comment has been hidden, unless it is a repeat offence. On rare occasions, we may block users from the page if the nature of their comments does not change, but we will always warn you of this and highlight our guidelines before doing so. Mae Ramblers Cymru yn helpu pawb, ym mhobman i fwynhau cerdded ac yn amddiffyn y lleoedd rydyn ni i gyd wrth ein bodd yn cerdded. Ni yw’r unig elusen yng Nghymru sy’n ymroddedig i ofalu am lwybrau a mannau gwyrdd, arwain teithiau cerdded, agor lleoedd newydd i’w harchwilio ac annog pawb i fynd allan a darganfod sut mae cerdded yn rhoi hwb i’ch iechyd a’ch hapusrwydd. Mae’r dudalen hon yn lle i bobl rannu lle maen nhw wrth eu bodd yn cerdded, cael eu hysbrydoli i fynd allan i gerdded, gofyn cwestiynau, dod o hyd i gyngor gan y gymuned gerdded, a chlywed am ffyrdd o gefnogi ein brwydr i amddiffyn y lleoedd rydyn ni’n caru crwydro. Er mwyn cadw pethau’n gyfeillgar, gofynnwn i aelodau ein cymuned ddilyn rhai canllawiau syml:

🥾 Byddwch yn gwrtais, yn gwrtais ac yn barchus at eraill.

🥾 Peidiwch â phostio cynnwys sy’n wahaniaethol, yn anweddus, yn ymfflamychol, yn aflonyddu, yn atgas, yn fygythiol, yn halogedig neu’n sarhaus yn bersonol.

🥾 Peidiwch â phostio unrhyw beth a allai fod yn enllibus neu’n ddifenwol: os gwneir cyhuddiad yn erbyn person a enwir, er enghraifft at aelod o staff neu wirfoddolwr, byddwn yn ei guddio.

🥾 Peidiwch â phostio hysbysebion ar gyfer cynhyrchion neu wasanaethau masnachol.

🥾 Peidiwch â phostio am faterion nad ydynt yn destun h.y. Rydym yn cymedroli'r dudalen hon fel mater o drefn Llun-Gwener a byddwn yn defnyddio ein disgresiwn ein hunain i guddio sylwadau sy'n mynd yn groes i'r canllawiau hyn. Byddwn yn rhoi gwybod ichi fod eich sylw wedi'i guddio, oni bai ei fod yn drosedd ailadroddus. Ar adegau prin, efallai y byddwn yn rhwystro defnyddwyr rhag y dudalen os nad yw natur eu sylwadau yn newid, ond byddwn bob amser yn eich rhybuddio am hyn ac yn tynnu sylw at ein canllawiau cyn gwneud hynny. This week some of our Walks for Women group headed out on a trip to Aber Falls. Everyone enjoyed exploring a new area and there were some stunning views!

Yr wythnos hon, aeth rhai o’n grŵp Merched yn Cerdded ar daith i Raeadr Fawr. Mwynhaodd pawb archwilio ardal newydd ac roedd y golygfeydd yn syfrdanol!

Every year Ramblers Cymru invites Local Authorities and other organisations to gather and share their knowledge and experiences working in countryside access and rights of way.

This year we were joined by local authority staff from around Wales, as well as representatives from organisations including National Trust Cymru, National Forest for Wales, the British Horse Society, RNIB Cymru, Farmers' Union of Wales, NFU Cymru and the National Churches Trust.

Video: four speakers stand against a wall and talk to the camera. They are from Swansea Council, Blaenau Gwent CBC, the National Trust and Farmers' Union of Wales.

We’re delighted to welcome Gareth Davies as an Ambassador for Ramblers Cymru. Gareth is the See Cymru Differently Project Lead, leading work to make the landscapes of Cymru truly accessible for blind and partially sighted people.

A registered blind trail runner, Gareth has worked for RNIB Cymru for more than 10 years and is also a member of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Local Access Forum, where he contributes to improving access to the countryside for all. He’s passionate about the power of walking to overcome isolation, improve wellbeing, build confidence, and reconnect people with the land around them.

Gareth says “I’m proud to champion walking as a force for inclusion, wellbeing, and social change, inspiring more people to explore Cymru and helping to create a future where everyone feels they belong in the outdoors.”

Welcome, Gareth!

Rydyn ni’n falch o groesawu Gareth Davies fel Llysgennad i Ramblers Cymru. Gareth yw Arweinydd y Prosiect Gweld Cymru'n Wahanol, gan arwain gwaith i wneud tirweddau Cymru’n wirioneddol hygyrch i bobl ddall a phobl â golwg rhannol

Yn rhedwr llwybrau sydd wedi'i gofrestru'n ddall, mae Gareth wedi gweithio i RNIB Cymru ers dros 10 mlynedd ac mae hefyd yn aelod o Fforwm Mynediad Lleol Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog, ble mae e’n cyfrannu at wella mynediad i gefn gwlad i bawb. Mae’n angerddol am bŵer cerdded i oresgyn unigedd, gwella lles, codi hyder ac ailgysylltu pobl â’r tir o’u cwmpas.

Dywedodd Gareth “Rydw i’n falch i godi llais dros gerdded fel grym dros gynhwysiant, lles a newid cymdeithasol, gan ysbrydoli mwy o bobl i archwilio Cymru a helpu i greu dyfodol ble mae pawb yn teimlo eu bod nhw’n perthyn yn yr awyr agored.”

Croeso, Gareth!

Disgrifiad o'r llun: hunlun o Gareth Davies - mae'n gwenu ac yn gwisgo sach gefn rhedeg, gyda dŵr yn y cefnder a bryniau yn y pellter. Mae cychod ar y dŵr, ac mae'r awyr yn las gyda chymylau ysgafn.
