Special Olympics North Devon This page will update you with Special Olympics North Devon events, success stories and lots more.

Special Olympics North Devon is a local club to help encourage young people with, an intellectual impairment to learn through, active sports and participation. To help nurture them in a variety of sports and physical activities where they can make new friends, build the team spirit and to develop their commitment to fitness. Every session we have Boccia, Table Tennis and Tennis and sometimes have laser shooting. We would like to do more sports eg Badminton - If you are interested and would like to help out then please contact us

Thank you to everyone that came along and competed in today Boccia competition. It was great to see some family members attending and supporting as well. Everyone played really well in the pairs and as we were ahead of time managed to do some singles.
Thank you also to Bideford Bike Show for coming along to see what we do after selecting us as one of there beneficiaries of the Rock the Torridge boat trip next year.
A really big thank you goes to the volunteers who took roles as being referees for the matches.

🌟 Boccia Competition Today! 🌟

Just a quick reminder that there’s no swimming or main session today.

For those taking part in the Boccia competition, please arrive by 12:15pm so we can get started at 12:30pm. We expect to finish around 3pm.

We’ll have squash and biscuits ready, and parents/carers are welcome to come along and cheer everyone on.

📸 Don’t forget to wear your Special Olympics North Devon green T‑shirt, navy trousers/shorts, and jacket (if you have one) for team photos.

Unfortunately due to a shortage of volunteers for the main session this week 3rd October we have had to cancel it. Swimming will still be going ahead 12 - 12.45.
If you want to compete at the club Boccia competition on 17th October and have not yet confirmed. Please remember to advise Julie by email [email protected] or whatsapp 07557388285 by saturday 3rd October so that we can make arrangements.
