The Bevern Trust is a Registered Charity that has been set up to support young adults with profound learning disabilities and their families.

We are The Bevern Trust. We are passionate about releasing people from the expectations others have about disability. We offer love, care, freedom and opportunity allowing profoundly disabled people to get more from life. reater awareness of disability and its impact. Compassionate care is at the centre of The Bevern Trust and our home at Bevern View. Everything we do is based on each person’s strengths and gifts, whilst involving the most important people in their lives. As a charity we seek to reach out to more families who are living with profound disability and aspire to a time when every parent with a disabled child has a place like Bevern View that they can trust, where care, family and love come first, every day. The Bevern trust is in the heart of the Sussex countryside in the small village of Barcombe, not far from the historic town of Lewes, the City of Brighton & Hove and the towns of Eastbourne and Haywards Heath.

Well done to Sam and Nick H who climbed 3 peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon yesterday.

We are attempting climbing the famous 3 peaks in 24 hours, starting… NOW!

A huge thank you to the team at for choosing us as one of their charities in this quarter’s green token scheme.

If you shop at Waitrose Lewes, you can support us by voting with your green tokens at every shopping trip from April - June. Every green token helps us provide multi-sensory activities, hydrotherapy, music and art therapy for our residents – giving them more from life!

What a wonderful experience watching these ducklings hatch and grow. Our residents loved giving them lots of cuddles, watching them swim and explore their new surroundings for the week.
