Another great pop-up at Wallands School yesterday. We will be there most Mondays with surplus food FREE for carers, teachers and children.

Donations are really welcome but the main priority here is to prevent food waste and make sure this food gets eaten!

We work with FareShare Sussex & Surrey who are a charity that redistributes food that otherwise might be wasted. What better way than to give it out at the school gates to all those children hungry from all the learning!!

(not on next week due to Bank Holiday, or the week after due to staff absence, but will be back in the playground on the 8th of June! Bring a bag and see you there!)

What a great first pop-up at Wallands Primary School a few weeks ago. It was great seeing kids so excited about cucumbers, carrots and oranges!

We will be running a weekly pop-up offering surplus food to kids, parents, carers and teachers of Wallands. This is a free service and helps us save food from being wasted. Donations are very welcome as it helps us continue to do what we do!

Thank you to FareShare for supplying additional surplus food, and to Get Bikery who helped us transport the produce with their electric cargo bike and to the head teacher for supporting the initative!

Fitzjohns have been chosen as one of the blue token charities at Tesco's across Lewes District!

This means every time you shop you can vote for us to win £1500 in funding!

Pick up your blue token by the self-checkout or at the tills and pop it in the voting boxes as you exit the store.

We are in the Lewes, Seaford, Peacehaven & Rottingdean Tescos :)

(Also great to see Tesco giving out free fruit for kids in store!)
