ADFB is operated by a group of people in the wider community in the Alnwick area & organisations such as CAB & NETs. All can refer people to us.

Registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales – Number 1173294. An independent charity run by volunteers, we work closely with health professionals, schools and others, including the Citizens Advice Bureau and Northumberland Emergency Transition Support, identifying need and offering help. Food parcels are also available at the Alnwick North Community Centre.

Are you in need of help? You can self refer to us and get 2 weeks worth of food help.

You'll then need to be referred by another service eg the citizens advice bureau, who are in the same building as us.

We're in need of the following donations

Laundry powder
Tinned pasta eg macaroni cheese/ spaghetti hoops
Cereal
Shower gel and shampoo
Nuts and dried fruit
Toothpaste

Donations can be left in the 'food bins' at the local supermarkets or delivered to us on either Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9 and 11am

A huge thank you to Barndale School for their donation to the foodbank today.

As well as food we are always in need of household products, eg kitchen roll, washing up liquid, washing detergent and bathroom goodies like shower gel, deodorant etc.

Giveaway Day at the Howling Lane Community Centre is ready to roll. Just come along to the Community Centre between 10am and 2pm. Whilst stocks last!!

Tinned pasta eg spaghetti hoops/ macaroni
Tinned meat

Coffee
Biscuits
Rice
Pasta sauce
Toilet rolls
Laundry powder
Dried dog food

You can leave any products at Lidl, Morrisons, Nisa and Newcastle Building Society, all in Alnwick. Or deliver to the Foodbank, we're on Lindesfarne road, in Alnwick and we're open Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9am till 11am
