He’s certainly very entertaining.
He isn’t neutered yet as our vets wanted us to wait until he was a bit older but being neutered will be part of the adoption agreement.

Frankie is looking for a home with someone who will keep him nice and SLIM we cannot stress how important this is with Frankie’s condition.
He would be ok with one other similar sized dog and no young children.
He would also need regular exercise with his little rubber boots on.
Frankie is an absolute joy , typical Pug cheekiness and he just loves to carry around a soft toy all the time .

If you are going to be around a lot and not let this little boy gain weight then please email
[email protected]

FRANKIE HAS NERVE DAMAGE TO HIS SPINE (OR IT COULD BE PUG MYELOPATHY) THIS MAKES HIM WALK ON HIS BACK CLAWS AND MAKES THEM BLEED.HE WEARS BOOTS ON WALKS OUTSIDE THE KENNELS . FRANKIE MUST BE KEPT ON THE SLIM SIDE DUE TO HIS NERVE DAMAGE

Name: Frankie
Age (approx): 18/11/21
Breed: Pug
Disposition: Happy , friendly, fun
Loves: cuddles, toys
Dislikes/wary of:
Dog friendly: been ok with dogs of similar size
Cat friendly: unknown
On lead behaviour: good
Previous bite history: not that we know of
Fully house trained:
Prey drive: not that we have seen

Requirements:
Breed experienced owners: not necessarily as long as breed research has been done .

Can they live with other dogs : one other calm dog

Children in the home: older children only due to his back

Rural/Urban: rural would be better for softer ground to walk on.

Someone at home for company: Frankie loves people so someone who is around most of the time would be great

General background: Frankie didn’t have the best start in life but this hasn’t affected his happy nature. He is vocal ( talking rather than barking )

Please read the specific requirements We assess and treat every dog as an individual, and include as much information as we can in each post.

Under Assessment
This little guy is Diego he’s believed to be around a year old. Diego like a lot of the little dogs we are getting in has not been well socialised and exposed correctly to the world . Due to this he is fearful and so has a lot to say to keep scary things away from him.
It’s now our job to get this very loveable little lad to feel more confident in himself.
Watch this space .

The absolutely stunning Sundy on his first walk out with another dog here .
He is the easiest of dogs and walks so beautifully.
