This cupboard might look simple to some people, but for a vulnerable household, this kind of organisation can make a huge difference.
One of our amazing volunteers recently helped organise a kitchen and food supplies to help a household cope day-to-day. By sorting cupboards, checking what’s available, reducing waste, and creating a calmer, more manageable space, they’ve helped ease stress and bring a little stability back into everyday life.
Our support is about practical help, kindness, encouragement, and showing someone they’re not alone.
At New Leaf Derbyshire, our volunteers help people rebuild confidence, independence, and hope. Whether it’s organising a home, helping someone access essentials, offering a listening ear, or simply being there, every small act genuinely creates lasting impact.
✨ We urgently need more volunteers to help support vulnerable people across our communities.
If you have a few hours to spare and a desire to make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.
