✨ That’s a wrap on Day 2 of Doors Open Day Aberdeen! ✨

As your Doors Open Day organiser, I would like to leave a little message of thanks ❤️

It has been so lovely seeing all the photos, visits and positive experiences shared from this year’s Doors Open Day. It’s genuinely a joy to see people exploring, discovering new places and, most importantly, having fun! 🏛️📸

I'm really proud of all the venues and volunteers! I volunteer for this role through my love for the city and a passion for making heritage and culture accessible to everyone ❤️

That’s why the festival is free to access - it’s about opening doors, sharing Aberdeen’s wonderful buildings and stories, and hopefully introducing them to audiences who might not otherwise get the opportunity to experience them.

I'm always looking for additional venues and buildings, so if you have any ideas, please let me know! 😊

I really hope everyone managed to find something to visit and enjoy over the weekend, and that you discovered somewhere new, learned something interesting or simply enjoyed seeing a different side of Aberdeen 🥰

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors, volunteered their time, visited, shared photos and supported the festival this year.

☀️ THAT’S A WRAP ON DAY ONE OF DOORS OPEN DAY ABERDEEN! 🚪🎉

What a day! The sun was shining, the doors were open and Aberdeen was absolutely buzzing with people exploring, discovering and enjoying some of the city’s incredible buildings and spaces 💛 (pic from today)

But… THE FUN ISN’T OVER! 👀

Tomorrow is Day Two, and there are still plenty of fantastic venues waiting to welcome you through their doors! 🚪✨

📍 The Wallace Tower — 11am–3pm
📍 Torry United Free Church — 11am–4pm

There’s something for everyone - from historic buildings and places of worship to sports, community spaces, railway heritage and some truly unique hidden gems ❤️
