We're delighted to share that the Aberdeenshire Summer of Play 2026 programme is now live, running from 6th July – 14th August, with a fantastic range of activities for children and young people across Aberdeenshire.

🌈 From sports sessions and holiday camps to adventure activities, swimming, creative workshops, library events, and outdoor experiences, there's something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

⚠️ Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to book early to avoid disappointment.

At our June Connecting Women online group, we were absolutely delighted to be joined by Ashleigh, who had just returned from a visit to Buckingham Palace the day before! A brave, award-winning Scottish entrepreneur, author, and passionate advocate, Ashleigh shared stories about her new book, The Truth Underneath. She even read a chapter from it and took the time to answer our questions.

With real passion and heartfelt compassion, she champions the rights of survivors, speaking openly and honestly about the injustices that often leave the most vulnerable unseen and unheard. Ashleigh’s voice truly feels like a shining beacon of hope, highlighting the urgent need for change and justice.

We’re so grateful to Ashleigh for taking the time to join us. We’re incredibly proud of her and can’t wait to see what she does next!

At Grampian Women's Aid, we are here to support women, children, and young people affected by domestic abuse. 💜

We provide a range of services, from safe refuge accommodation to outreach support, advocacy, and education, helping women, children and young people stay safe, rebuild their lives, and move forward with confidence.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about each of our services and the difference they make every day.

This week, we are highlighting our Women’s Service, offering vital one-to-one support, safety planning, and practical and emotional help for women experiencing or recovering from domestic abuse.
