Lion Corner Community Shop

Here’s another familiar face who many of you will recognise from around the village and the shop.

Always willing to lend a hand, always happy to stop for a chat, and always doing his bit to support our local community, he is one of the many wonderful volunteers who help keep the shop running for everyone.

The Lion Corner Community Shop is much more than just a shop – it’s a place where friends meet, neighbours catch up, and the community comes together.

If you’re passing by, do pop in and say hello. A friendly welcome is always guaranteed, and we look forward to seeing you soon and thank you, as always, for supporting your local community shop. 🦁❤️

Happy Brian today! 🦁☀️

We’ve had fresh stocks arrive of ice creams, ice-cold drinks and plenty of treats ready for what’s hopefully going to be a lovely hot Bank Holiday weekend.

If you’re passing by, do pop in and support your local community shop. Every purchase helps keep this wonderful village facility going strong for everybody to enjoy.

These lovely people do a sterling job helping to keep our village shop running, always with a friendly smile and always pleased to see everybody who walks through the door. We really are very lucky to have such a fantastic facility right here in our community.

We just wondered… would anybody else like to come and join our team of volunteers? Even a little bit of spare time can make a huge difference, and it’s a lovely way to meet people, help the community and be part of something special.

Who knows… you might even end up in the Brian photo gallery too! 🦁😊

🦁 A Message from Brian the Lion 🦁

Brian would just like to say a huge thank you to the Village Hall for hosting such a wonderful evening last night.

It was fantastic to see so many of our amazing volunteers come together for a proper social get-together — and what a night it was!

A special mention must go to those who laid on such an incredible spread of food… it really was something else 👏

With a lovely selection of wines available from the shop and plenty of good conversation flowing, it made for a brilliant evening all round.

Most importantly, it was a chance to recognise the people who keep the Lion Corner Shop going day in, day out. The effort, time and care you all put in does not go unnoticed.

Brian would like to extend his sincere thanks and admiration to each and every one of you.

You do a truly sterling job, and the shop simply wouldn’t be what it is without you ❤️

🦁 A Little Invitation from Brian the Lion…

Brian would like to warmly invite all our wonderful volunteers – and your partners – to join us this Friday 10th April at the village hall for a relaxed social get-together.Between 6.00pm-10.00pm.

It’s simply a chance to unwind, have a chat, and enjoy a friendly evening together with some food and drinks. No agenda, no pressure – just good company and a nice way to say thank you for everything you all do.

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible.

Come along, have a drink, grab a bite, and enjoy a proper catch-up with the team.
