The Comrie Singers

The Comrie Singers The Comrie Singers is a secular, adult choir that enjoys singing choral music of all genres. We meet between 7-9pm at St Mary's Senior School in Colchester.

Rehearsals are held fortnightly on Mondays during school term times. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact us. There is no audition and the first session is free! We provide all the music and MP3s are also available to help learn and practise songs at home. You do not need to be able to read music.

Entry is free, with a retiring collection in aid of the East Anglian Children's Hospice. The concert starts at 5pm.

The Comrie Singers will be joining Wivenhoe Orchestra, the Wivenhoe Youth Choir and Playstrings Academy in this concert at St Mary's Church, Wivenhoe, on Sunday 12th April. The concert includes a range of orchestral pieces from Handel to The Pirates of the Caribbean, and the choir will be joining the orchestra and Youth Choir in a Les Miserables medley. Looking forward to another great concert - hope to see you there!

Looking forward to our Christmas Wassail in a few weeks! Bring drinks and nibbles to enjoy as you listen to the choir, brass, and accordians singing and playing a variety of music. Hope to see you there!

Hope everyone has had a good summer holiday! Just a reminder that our first rehearsal of the new term is on Monday 15th September, at St Andrew's Church, Fingringhoe, 7-9pm, as usual.

Any new people who are interested in joining the choir, please get in touch via this page or feel free to just turn up at the rehearsal on 15th!
