The Comrie Singers

The Comrie Singers The Comrie Singers is a secular, adult choir that enjoys singing choral music of all genres. We meet between 7-9pm at St Mary's Senior School in Colchester.

Rehearsals are held fortnightly on Mondays during school term times. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact us. There is no audition and the first session is free! We provide all the music and MP3s are also available to help learn and practise songs at home. You do not need to be able to read music.

Our upcoming summer concert on Saturday 11th July at St Andrew's Church, Fingringhoe. Doors open 2.30pm. We'll be singing a variety of music, along with performances from Jubilant Brass and Gill and Mary playing Accordians.

Free entry with a retiring collection in aid of the church. Hope to see you there!

Entry is free, with a retiring collection in aid of the East Anglian Children's Hospice. The concert starts at 5pm.

The Comrie Singers will be joining Wivenhoe Orchestra, the Wivenhoe Youth Choir and Playstrings Academy in this concert at St Mary's Church, Wivenhoe, on Sunday 12th April. The concert includes a range of orchestral pieces from Handel to The Pirates of the Caribbean, and the choir will be joining the orchestra and Youth Choir in a Les Miserables medley. Looking forward to another great concert - hope to see you there!

Hope everyone has had a good summer holiday! Just a reminder that our first rehearsal of the new term is on Monday 15th September, at St Andrew's Church, Fingringhoe, 7-9pm, as usual.
