5 Parishes Summer Show The 5 Parishes Show is a celebration of the vibrant and diverse communities of the five parishes that make up the area.

The show has been a beloved tradition for over 90 years, bringing together people of all ages to enjoy a day of fun and entertainment. The show is the summer event of the Abberton, Langenhoe, Peldon, Gt & Lt. Wigborough Horticultural Society abbreviated to the Five Parishes and affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society. The show is based upon a show marquee full of exhibitors home produce, an

entertainment ring, various types of stalls, side shows, interactive activities and refreshments to suit all tastes, plus associated horse and dog shows to enter or just watch for a fun family day out in the fresh air.

Next year is going to be a special one as we'll be celebrating 90 years of the Five Parishes Show. We can't wait to see you there.

🌟 Great to see everyone at the 5 Parishes Summer Show yesterday!

The weather held out right until the very end, and it was a real pleasure to be there and catch up with everyone.

A big thank you to all the children who stopped by to say hello and took away one of our Abberton Car Sales balloons!

Purdey the black Labrador and Ebony the miniature Dachshund, our lovely Chief Happiness Officers, were also on hand, lapping up the attention and loving all the snuggles and strokes.

Purdey and Ebony are back at work today, and along with the rest of the , they’ll be working through your enquiries and calling customers back over the next few days to get bookings sorted.
