|▪️Today, on the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, we stand in solidarity with women and girls across Fiji and around the world in affirming that access to health, dignity, safety, and bodily autonomy are fundamental rights — not privileges.

This global day of action continues to call for stronger commitment to women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, justice, and equitable access to services for all women in their diversity.

At Women’s Fund Fiji, we recognise that women’s health is deeply connected to economic security, freedom from violence, climate justice, leadership, and the ability of women and girls to make informed decisions about their own lives and bodies.

Through the work of our grantee partners, we continue to support feminist, community-led responses that ensure women and girls, especially those in rural, remote, and underserved communities, can access information, care, and support in safe and respectful ways.

Today, we acknowledge the important work of our grantee partner Medical Services Pacific, whose integrated services and advocacy continue to support women, children, and families across Fiji. Their work strengthens access to sexual and reproductive health services, counselling, and survivor-centred support, ensuring that no woman or girl is left behind.

As feminists, we know that caring for women’s health is also about protecting rights, amplifying voices, and creating systems rooted in dignity, compassion, and justice.
