A special visit by Graduate Women Fiji to our former trustee, Joan Teaiwa 💐

Joan continues to inspire us with her strength, grace, and warmth. It was truly heartening to spend time with her, reflecting on her contributions and the legacy she has helped build for women and girls in Fiji.

Joan also spoke fondly of the Fiji Association of Women Graduates (FAWG), recalling its important role in advancing education and opportunities for women—values that continue to guide our work today.

💞 A heartfelt thank you to Namosi Eco Retreat for their continued support of Graduate Women Fiji.

Each year, through our Annual Quiz Fundraiser, we raise vital funds to support young women’s education and empowerment in pursuing careers in STEM, and we are grateful to partners like Namosi Eco Retreat who help make this possible. Their generous contribution of a retreat stay as one of our prizes continues to create memorable experiences for our winners while supporting a meaningful cause.

We were delighted to see this year’s winners enjoy their well-deserved time at the retreat, a truly special space to rest, recharge, and connect with nature 🌿

🙏Vinaka vakalevu to Suva Marathon and everyone who supported Graduate Women Fiji at the International Women’s Day Run! 🏃‍♀️💛

👉Thanks to your generosity, $508.40 was raised for the Graduate Women Fiji Scholarship Fund🎓, which supports young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue studies in non-traditional fields such as STEM.

Since 2012, Graduate Women Fiji has supported 27 women scholars, helping them access education, build careers and create positive change in their communities.

We are grateful to the Suva Marathon organisers and all the runners who contributed. Your support helps ensure more women and girls can pursue education and leadership opportunities.

Announcing Our 2026 Scholarship Recipient

Graduate Women Fiji (GWF) is proud to announce that Adi Melania Saunaqali has been awarded the 2026 GWF Scholarship.

Adi Melania is currently enrolled in the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 5) at the Fiji National University Labasa Campus, where she is pursuing her passion for technology and innovation.

This scholarship has been made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, partners, and everyone who participated in our 2025 GWF Quiz Night Fundraiser. Your contributions directly support young women pursuing higher education, particularly in STEM fields.
