SMART ORGANIZATION is proud to have participated in the transformative two-day Mental Health & Psychiatric First Aid Training organised by .

General Director, Abdirahman Ahmed, represented SMART in this impactful program, which focused on equipping participants with essential skills to identify, respond to, and support individuals experiencing mental health and psychiatric challenges.

This training strengthens our commitment to community-based psychological first aid, ensuring that care in our community remains accessible, compassionate, and effective.

SMART ORGANIZATION Participates in Dialogue Forum on Youth and Peacebuilding

Today, June 14, 2025, SMART ORGANIZATION proudly took part in the Dialogue Forum on "The Role of Youth in Peacebuilding in the Somali Regional State", held at the Royal Hotel in Jigjiga

Our team was represented by Abdirahman Ahmed Moh and Abdiletif Yahye Abib, who joined other youth-led civil society actors, academic institutions, and key stakeholders in discussing ways to promote strategic, inclusive, and sustainable peace in the region.

We are committed to empowering youth and being a voice for positive change!

We were honored to participate in the Official Launching Event of the GBV & Cultural Identity Study and GBV Reporting Tool (Badqab) held on April 14th, 2025.

This important event, organized by Pastoralist Concern, Medicus Mundi Gipuzkoa, and the Regional Bureau of Women & Children’s Affairs, and funded by Spanish Cooperation, marks a critical step forward in the fight against Gender-Based Violence in our communities.

As SMART ORGANIZATION, we are committed to promoting awareness, advocacy, and action against GBV. We thank the organizers and all partners for their dedication and collaboration.

Today in Jigjiga, CYRO organized a crucial dialogue session focusing on "The Role of Civil Society Organizations in the Community." The event brought together leaders from various youth-centered NGOs under the Youth Consortium platform to reflect, share, and strategize on the growing importance of civil society in fostering social development, peacebuilding, and community resilience.

Mr. Abdirahman Ahmed and Mr. Abdiletif Yahye, representing SMART ORGANIZATION, emphasized the vital contribution of CSOs in filling service gaps, advocating for vulnerable groups, and building local capacity. They underscored the need for stronger collaboration, transparency, and active community engagement to amplify impact.
